NIJAC is seeking to appoint:
The Chief Social Security Commissioner and Chief Child Support Commissioner
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the office of Chief Social Security Commissioner you must be either:
- a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland of at least ten years’ standing; or
- a solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland of at least ten years’ standing.
To be eligible for the office of Chief Child Support Commissioner you must be either:
- a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland of at least seven years’ standing; or
- a solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland of at least seven years’ standing.
As this is a joint office you are required to meet the higher eligibility criteria of Ten Years. Eligibility in terms of years’ standing will be determined by the anticipated date of appointment (1st June 2025).
Salary:
The current full-time salary is £180,522 per annum.
