Employment Judge (Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal)

NIJAC is currently inviting applications for the office of Employment Judge (Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal). Flexible working will be considered for the appointments arising in this scheme.

It is intended to make 2 appointments and to maintain a reserve list for 12 months from the anticipated date of the first appointment (5 September 2018).

Eligibility:

To be eligible for appointment as an Employment Judge is to, by 5 September 2018:

  • have a seven year general qualification within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990;

or

  • be an advocate or solicitor admitted in Scotland of at least seven years’ standing;

or

  • be a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland or solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland of at least seven years’ standing.

Completed applications must be received by NIJAC no later than 12 noon on Monday 5 March 2018.
