Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Mr. Peter Irvine QC as County Court Judge in Northern Ireland. The judge was sworn into office before Sir Declan Morgan, the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland, on Monday 5 July 2021.
Mr. Peter Irvine QC
Mr. Peter Irvine QC graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a law degree. Mr. Peter Irvine QC was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 1982. Following an extensive career specialising in criminal law, he was called to the Inner Bar in 2011 and has continued his career as Queen's Counsel specialising in criminal work both for the defence and prosecution.
