Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Team Attain Diversity Mark Accreditation

The Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission (NIJAC) is celebrating having been awarded the highly regarded Diversity Mark Accreditation.

NIJAC, an independent Appointments Commission for the judiciary, recruit, appoint and recommend for appointment, those to Judicial office for the Tribunals and Courts in Northern Ireland.

The Diversity Mark Accreditation acknowledges NIJAC’s commitment to progressing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.

Tonya McCormac, CEO comments “We are delighted with this recognition from Diversity Mark which will inspire our ongoing commitment and strengthen our resolve in progressing diversity and inclusion in both the Commission, as an employer and in making Appointments to Judicial office in the Courts and Tribunals.

NIJAC are looking forward to implementing measures over the coming 12 months and beyond, to make a meaningful impact on equality, diversity and inclusion.”
